												Former
												Moroccan national champion
												Yassine Ettabouti
												and Bakhtiyar Isgandarzada from
												Azerbaijan will square off for
												the vacant World Boxing
												Federation (WBF) Eurasia Light
												Welterweight title on Saturday,
												December 10, at the Hall
												Monconseil in Tours, France.

Billed as “Les Princes Du Ring”,
												the scheduled ten-rounder is the
main event of a five-bout show
												promoted by Association Elbaja
												Boxing Academy de Tours, and
												must be considered a significant
step up in class for Ettabouti
in what will be his first
												international
												championship fight.

While it will also be his first
												professional fight outside his
												native country, Ettabouti, so
far 9-1 (1) in the paid ranks,
can expect big support on the
night, due to the large migrant
												population of Moroccan origins
in France. There is no doubt
												that the man from Casablanca
												will be the “home fighter”!

												But in Isgandarzada, 11-9 (4),
who has already been involved in
five fights over ten or twelve
												rounds, and challenged for minor
												titles against very respectable
												opposition, he will be severely
tested by an opponent who is not
												fazed by fighting in his
												opponents back-yard.

It shapes up to be a noisy and
												action-packed event in Tours,
and it remains to be seen if the
												partisan crowd will work in
favor of Ettabouti, or if the
												pressure and expectations will
be too much for him. Against
												Isgandarzada he can not afford
												to have an off-night.
