On Saturday April 2 at the
												Pangsuma Stadium in Pontianak on
												Indonesian island Borneo, local
												hero Agus Kustiawan will square
												off with Filipino Lloyd
												Jardeliza for the vacant World
												Boxing Federation (WBF) Asia
												Pacific Featherweight title on a
show promoted by Mayor Kal Yudi
												Setiawan.

												Kustiawan is a former Indonesian
												national champion, and brings a
14-4 (6) record to the party,
												while Jardeliza travels to
												Indonesia with a 7-3-3 (6)
												ledger. Both turned professional
in 2012, and will see this as a
												big opportunity to take their
												careers to the next level.

												In August of 2015 Kustiawan
												fought Nathaniel May in
												Australia for the WBA Oceania
												crown, and lost a spirited
												decision after ten hard-fought
												rounds. He has since returned
												with a victory last December,
												and is reportedly chomping at
the bits to get back in the
												ring.

												Despite his mediocre record,
												Lloyd Jardeliza has already
												taken part in two championship
fights. He too lost a decision
to Nathaniel May in 2015, albeit
for a WBO regional belt, and in
his most recent outing he came
up short in an attempt to
												capture the OPBF Super
												Bantamweight title against
												undefeated Shun Kubo in Japan.

Likely the bigger puncher of the
												two, Jardeliza is expected to
												come out all guns blazing
												against Kustiawan, knowing that
												the Indonesian is the more
skilled boxer. It shapes up to
												be an interesting match-up of
												hungry competitors, looking to
												make a name for themselves
												internationally. |
