												Exciting undefeated Filipino
												prospect John Vincent Moralde
will be looking to continue his
												impressive rise in the sport
when he squares off with fellow
												countryman Anthony “Zorro”
												Sabalde for the vacant World
												Boxing Federation (WBF)
												International Featherweight
title on Saturday February 13 in
												General Santos City.

Billed as “Brawl At The Mall:
												Glory”, the fight will headline
												a show promoted by Sanman
												Promotions at the Gaisano Mall
												of Gensan, and both fighters
												have been quite vocal about
												their intentions of coming out
												victorious and claiming the WBF
												title.

												“I
												usually don’t take my opponents
lightly, but I know I will be
victorious in this fight. I have
confidence in my ability, and I
know that I will soon be a world
												champion”, said the 14-0 (7)
												Moralde when the intriguing
												match-up was announced by the
												promoter.

												Moralde (21) turned professional
at seventeen in 2011, and won
												the Philippines national Super
												Bantamweight crown in 2014.
Later that year he captured the
												WBF International Super
												Bantamweight title, before
												moving up to Featherweight in
												2015.

												Fighting out of Cebu City,
												Southpaw Sabalde, 10-4 (5), has
												also been confident in the
												build-up, albeit more humble in
												his approach, saying:

												“Lets
just see who gets knocked out
during the fight. This is the
biggest fight of my career, and
I am up against a tough
												opponent. This is a very
important fight for me, and I
												will do everything possible to
												win.” |
