Karol Mazariegoz won the vacant
World Boxing Federation (WBF) Womens
Intercontinental Super Flyweight
title on Saturday February 28.
In Moreles, Mexico, she defeated
compatriot Sanjuna Guadalupe Vasquez
by unanimous decision after a
convincing performance.
24-year-old Mazariegoz is now 11-4-1
(4) as a pro. Vasquez drops to a
misleading 6-9-1 (0).
The fight was promoted by Ivan
Santos Rivas.
