Azerbaijani veteran Taryel Jafarov
will take on Venezuelan Klismans
Bolano for the vacant World Boxing
Federation (WBF) International
Heavyweight title on September 27 in
Fethiye, Turkey.
The fight serves as the chief
support to the Hasan Kubilay Alcu
vs. Luciano Falcao WBF world
Cruiserweight title fight, which
headlines the card promoted by TJ
Boxing Promotions.
Jafarov, 39-8 (37), turned pro in
2017 and has boxed all over the
world, including in Georgia, Russia,
Pakistan, Ghana, Dubai, Ukraine,
Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Kazakhstan,
Egypt and Bosnia & Herzegovina,
besides his native Azerbaijan and
several times in Turkey.
In the process he has captured
various titles and boxed some
top-class opponents, at both
Heavyweight and Cruiserweight. With
five straight victories he is now
ready to add the WBF belt to his
collection.
However, Klismans Bolano, 8-1 (7),
is a dangerous obstacle for him. The
34-year-old is hungry to rebound,
after losing his last bout for the
WBC Latino Cruiserweight title to
Octavio Pudivitr in Colombia.
Jafarov is clearly the favourite
going in, but Bolano has made it
clear that he is coming to Turkey to
cause an upset!
