is the WBF Boxer of the Month
for April 2021.
The 22-year-old Mexican earns
the award on the back of his
impressive victory to lift the
vacant world title against
compatriot Hector Garcia Dolores
on April 10 in Tijuana.
Rodriguez Picazo put on an
impressive display of boxing and
eventually forced Garcia Dolores
to retire at the start of round
ten.
Trained by the legendary Nacho
Beristain, Rodriguez Picazo took
his professional record to 21-5
(13), winning his sixth straight
bout.
